    Found the perfect line

Posted by Brandon Kalpin on Apr 9th 2018

When I first put 5wt line on my supposed to be new favorite 5wt rod I was sorely disappointed. I couldn't feel the line, and I was starting to regret the rod purchase. But one day I accidentally put a reel on that was loaded with Avid 6wt line meant for my streamer rod. It was like everything fell into place. The rod reacted, and my cast didn't feel dead anymore. I've since decided to throw some small streamers and had to purchase the sink tip version for this summers adventures. I found my line.
